$500,000 in just 2400 miles. Can you guess it?
Nope, you're wrong. It's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . The original price was $550k. Now, just 2400 miles later, it's for sale for $50k. This British truck was an amphibious, 6X6 allroader. It also happens to be awesome. For some reason, I see it as a Unimog Sr.

A funny story about the original Mini - because of an accounting error, British Leyland actually lost money on every single Mini made. Rival companies wondered how on earth BL was doing it for the money and the funny thing was, they weren't. Didn't stop BL making a few good million of them though!

There's a story that Ford bought one of the first cars. They stripped and costed it and while admiring the design realised that it was never going to make money at the price.
They therefore settled on making only rwd cars for many years afterwards.
